No dice - the upgrade made Parallels think the partition was broken somehow. I needed to do a little work in Windows and decided to fire up Win10 using Parallels. No idea how, I was on the phone with Apple support when it just.started working (much to my extreme frustration.) I was having funky issues with wifi in Win10 and Sierra at the time, but it magically resolved itself. No warning, no "hey, you wanna upgrade to a NEW MAJOR RELEASE?" It upgraded and that was that.

Then the great and wacky gods of tech threw me a curve ball and Windows 10 updated to the AU edition. Last week I upgraded to Sierra like most of us and saw that Parallels had upgraded to 12.
